Founded in Philadelphia; 1914. Headquartered in Seattle since 1993.
If you're not a runner, you may not be familiar with Brooks Sports by name. The athletic company focuses on "running happy" - the company motto - but their casual kicks are for hanging out, too. The company recently opened its new headquarters in Fremont, just off the Burke-Gilman Trail (perfect for jogging before and after work).
