Noise for the Needy (NFTN) is pleased to announce that The Helio Sequence, Ivan and Alyosha, Ravenna Woods, Horde and The Harem, Black Whales, Prism Tats, Black Nite Crash, Hand Of The Hills, Goodbye Heart, Hallstrom, & Yet, Sebastian and The Deep Blue, Ryan Caraveo, Future Shock and several other radical bands will be playing their little hearts out for you in Ballard for the 10th and final installment of this annual charity music festival.

Says Director Richard Green of the discontinuation of NFTN, “Over the last decade we’ve raised thousands of dollars for charities, met wonderful people, and learned so much along the way. We’re going to begin new music-oriented fund raising projects, but in order to focus our efforts on future plans the time has sadly come to wind up NFTN. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who’s been a part of these events, and we look forward to seeing you in Ballard this fall.”

The Helio Sequence, Ravenna Woods, Prism Tats, and Black Nite Crash will kick off the festivities on Friday September 12th at the Tractor Tavern.

Ivan and Alyosha will headline the same venue on Saturday the 13th with Horde and The Harem and special guests supporting. Other venues involved with NFTN include Conor Byrne, Hilliards Brewery, and the 2 Bit.

Noise for the Needy is a Seattle-based nonprofit organization that raises money for charitable causes through the production of live music shows. NFTN has hosted hundreds of bands and raised thousands of dollars since its first Seattle show in November 2004. Within the last year alone NFTN has helped collectively raise over sixty thousand dollars for the Vera Project, Ballard Food Bank, and Urban Rest Stop.
