A woman is in critical condition after she was shot by a bail bondsman near Graham.

The shooting occurred at a home in the 12000 block of 260th Street E. It is believed to have occurred Tuesday night.

The woman was shot as the bounty hunters were taking her son into custody. Investigators say she had a gun.

Pierce County investigators are at the scene.
