A couple of psychiatrists have done a study, saying that lyrics today, and therefore people today, are more narcissistic than they used to be. Songs used to be about “we” and “us” and now more and more they’re about “Me” and “I.” Love songs that used to be sweet are now “I’m independent! Look at my humps! I’ll beat your car in with a baseball bat if you cheat on me!”

So, my coworker Mike and I recorded our own little diddy. It’s the modern day “We Are the World.” We call it…wait for it…”I am the World.” didn’t see that coming, did you?
