7-year-old: Give $2, feed the homeless on Easter
A 7-year-old boy is inspiring anyone that has $2 to give. On Easter, he wants to make sure that 5,000 homeless people have the opportunity to get a hot meal from the Union Gospel Mission in Seattle.
Because he believes God cares about homeless people, and we should too, Ethan hopes that adults will join him in donating. (He already donated his weekly allowance and his entire savings, $30.)
So far, Seattle Union Gospel Mission has received enough donations for 700 meals. To get the grand total to Ethan’s goal of 5,000 meals you can donate here.
The Mission says that many guests who come for the first time on Easter, will return during the weeks that follow, and that might be the meal that convinces them to get the help they need here to change their life.
