This is my first-ever blog post. I’ve been reluctant to blog because it seemed redundant to me. After all, a talk show is a three-hour audio blog. I figure three hours of me is more than enough for any one day and you certainly don’t need more.

But… the web and blogs are a huge part of my show-prep. I demand real-time information for my news. I’m guessing you do as well. So if I can share with you the stories that I’m working on for topics at the time I find those stories, I’m hopeful that you’ll be fully invested in those issues and be even more inclined to listen from Noon-3pm.

Plus, I want this show page to be a 24-hour source of info for you. I can’t make any promises, but I’ll try to update it on a regular basis – several times a day. I may pop on after the show for a few comments, as I’ve done today.

I will almost always have a late night update. I do a lot of my show prep between 11pm and 2am. I’ll let you know what I’m working on for the next day’s show.

And then I will have a morning update that should have a clearer ida of what will be on that day’s show.

I’ll provide links for news stories that I’m using as background info – and, as soon as I figure out how, video, audio and photo links as well. In the right column of our show page we’ll have link to other features like this week’s Chris Berman and Barack Obama news mash-ups. We’ll also post our Call of the Week and other show features there as well.

So please bookmark this page. And please leave your comments. If the feedback and interest is there, we’ll put a lot of energy into this page. I want to be your talk show for not just three hours a aday, but all 24 hours.
