A big thanks to Coach George Karl. He really made Seattle a basketball town. I don’t care what any ESPN announcer might say or what speech the NBA commissioner gives. Seattle is a sports town and that includes basketball. A main reason we are a basketball town was George Karl coaching the Sonics. So thank you very much.

While Dori was on the air this story came across my desk. A man get pulled over for driving a riding lawn mower while drunk. The best part is that the police were led on a 3 MPH car chase until on of the officers got out of their car, jogged up to the vehicle and pulled the guy off.

What was this guy thinking? Did you really think you could out run a suped up Crown Vic with a John Deer? I’ve seen video of some people even tricking out their lawn mowers to race on dirt tracks, but I would be hard pressed to believe that even those lawn mowers can out run a police cruiser. Congrats guy, you have put a smile on my face for being such an idiot. All I can ask is once you get out of the pokey you try to flee across state lines on a scooter.
