A boy in Russia who was found by social workers recently could not communicate with them. The 7 year old could only chirp as if he was a bird According to the reports from Russia the boy was treated by his Mom as if he was a pet. The boy was not talked to and was surrounded by caged birds that the family kept as pets. When the social workers attempted to talk with the boy, he only chirped and when frustrated flapped his arms as if they were wings.

It is believed that the boy is suffering from Mowgli syndrome due to the neglect from the Mom. From a sociological perspective the child will become a great case study for all the scientists. For us this is another mother of the year award nominee.

What kind of person could really neglect their own child to the point where he believes that he is a bird. It’s not like he was lost in the wild. There was a living breathing person with him, and I would imagine the mother was there most of the time. Neglect to the point that he learns how to communicate with the birds in his house and is treated like a pet in the household. C’mon, how could nobody have found out about this before?

The woman had a baby, and for many out there that is a huge celebratory time in their lives. I have to believe that someone would have noticed that the mother never went out with her new born child. There is something seriously wrong with society if things like this are not caught in this day and age. Oh, wait this wasn’t in the U.S. this was Russia. Never mind…
