Obama’s Rev Wright is Wrong

Dori writes…

I will follow-up on Friday’s show with more of the shocking audio from Reverend Jeremiah Wright – Barack Obama’s “spiritual advisor” for the past 20 years.

In the audio/video that surfaced Thursday that I played on my show, Wright said that blacks should not sing “God Bless America” but “God Damn America”. He also referred to our country as the “U-S-K-K-K-of-A” and said that the United States brought on the 9/11 attacks with its own “terrorism” policy.

In additional audio that we found Thursday night that I’ll play on Friday’s show, Wright claims that the U.S. government invented the AIDS virus to kill off the minority population. He does that to cheering throngs in his Chicago church.

It’s shocking, despicable stuff. The Obama campaign issued a weak denunciation of Wright’s comments on Thursday. But I believe this could sink Obama’s campaign. And here’s why: Obama can say whatever he wants about Wright now – but people will see that any distancing will be done for clearly political purposes.

Obama’s words today will not change his actions of the past 20 years. Rev Wright married Obama and his wife Michelle. He baptized their two children. They chose to make this virulent racist with his anti-American comments their spiritual advisor. Wright inspired the title of Obama’s book “The Audacity of Hope”. Do we really want the President of the United States to have had a 20 year relationship with a preacher who screams “God Damn America” from the pulpit?

I’m not a big fan of Hillary, but I would be a million times more comfortable with her as president that I would Obama.

By the way, since we brought up the issue of the phony fainting at the Obama rallies three weeks ago, has anyone else noticed that his subsequent rallies have been faint-free since then? Maybe I’m the miracle healer and I just didn’t know it.

More on this at High Noon Friday.
