I absolutley love scraping a few bucks together and heading out to any good record store or thrift shop to search for old classic vinyl. If you’re in the right place at the right time you’re bound to stumble upon some really great finds. However, did you know that secrets lurk on most records that are printed? One such interesting secret is something called backmasking, and I urge everyone if you’ve the capabilities, to reverse your records and listen to what may be hidden in your favorite song. Another really cool thing that I’ve known of for a few months now is secret text that may be found between the run out groove on the record and the label also known as ‘dead wax’. Cool, huh? There’s even a website dedicated to this awesomeness called Vinyl Remarks.
