Thom Yorke has released a couple of new songs for us to enjoy. I don’t know if these will end up on a new Radiohead record or maybe another solo work of his, I just know that Thom York, with or without the Radiohead moniker can do no wrong. Listen here…

You might remember Wolfmother’s mega hit, ‘Woman’ from their 2005 eponymous release. The entire record harkens back to 60’s/70’s rock with a sound very much like that of Black Sabbath. Solid.
Well, Wolfmother is back with a slightly different line-up and a record that will not dissapoint. You can get the entire album on their Myspace page, or, if you want something you can actually hold in your hand and show off to all your friends, the in-store release date is October 27th. Lastly, The Flaming Lips are back with a brand spankin’ new double album called ‘Embryonic’. The record is out now and I know it will not dissapoint. This song is called ‘I Can Be A Frog’ which features Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and if anyone can make a sad yet calming song about pretending to be different animals, it’s The Flaming Lips.
