Dave Grohl is brilliant. A drummer I can only hope to emmulate. Ok, well there is Jimmy Chamberlain of The Smashing Pumpkins who also makes me cream but that’s a story for another day. Oh! Danny Carey of Tool is mindblowingly amazing too.

Focus! Back to Dave Grohl and his seriously amazing talents that stretch way beyond his life on the skins. For instance, his ability to play every instrument and be the frontman on a debut record that would become a massive success (Foo Fighters), also calling together many of the respected 1980’s heavy metal gods and to produce one of the finest heavy metal albums out today (Probot). Not to mention all the guest appearances on other artists records. The list goes on.

As a matter of fact the coming weeks will be huge for Grohl what with the ‘Nirvana Live at Reading’ DVD coming out as well as a Foo Fighters Greatest Hits and Them Crooked Vultures releasing their debut on Nov. 17th.
