Police release photos of possible witness in Belltown stabbing

Police have released photos of a woman who may have witnessed a robbery and assault last week in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood.

The incident occurred near 3rd Avenue and Battery Street. The victim was withdrawing money from an ATM when he was assaulted.

The woman in the images talked to the victim shortly before he was he was stabbed in the back and punched. The victim told police she may have witnessed the attack.

Police add that she may have been in the company of three black males.

Anyone with information on the identity of the woman is asked to contact the SPD’s Robbery Unit at 206.684.5535.
