6-year-old boy falls from third-story window in Seattle

A 6-year-old boy who fell out a third-story window in Seattle suffered head and leg injuries, but is expected to survive.

Authorities responded to scene in 1200 block of North 88th Street around 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Police determined the boy was sitting on the window sill blowing bubbles when he fell. The window screen was reportedly either open or removed.

The Seattle Fire Department transported the boy to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say both parents were home at the time and the fall was accidental.
