Video: Marshawn Lynch samples candy with NFL Japan

By Alyssa Kleven

As the Seahawks headed into the playoffs, running back Marshawn Lynch was fined $50,000 by the league after someone noticed that he hadn’t been talking to the media.

Lynch appealed the fine, got it suspended, and started opening up to the media, albeit briefly.

According to 710 ESPN’s Danny O’Neil, Lynch is a relaxed, laid back guy, which is a lot different than most athletes who refuse to give interviews.

“I’ve been around grumpy athletes you won’t give interviews before and usually they’re really grumpy to you outside the interviews,” said Danny. But unlike those guys, “Marshawn Lynch is a very endearing sort of personality.”

And we got a chance to see his charm in this interview with NFL Japan. Lynch is a little more talkative when the subject is sweets. He samples some special candy from Japan and proves that his sweet tooth extends beyond Skittles.
