No one is excited for Trump or Hillary

If you’re excited about Trump, I’m glad that you’re happy – even though 65 percent of the GOP is not excited about him. But I don’t know any Democrats that are excited about Hillary Clinton.

How did we arrive at a point that two people that no one really wants are likely to be the nominees for the Republican and Democratic parties?

When the vice-chair of the DNC steps down so she can support a different candidate, you know something isn’t working.

It seems that we’re hiring one person to deliver us from a mess we’ve made for ourselves. In our countries history, things did not previously pivot on just one person. It took a multitude of people to hold the republic together. We didn’t use to elect saviors, as it seems we do now.

We don’t need saviors but we do need people of character. We can’t just say that everyone is corrupt and pick the lesser of two evils.

We’re hiring an employee who will work for us, not electing a king or queen. We need a public servant who has character and can lead in a level-headed way; someone who is not concerned with self or legacy but a public servant who is qualified to lead. In the field that remains, who embodies that?
