Stunt proves liberals still don’t understand objections to abortion

A tasteless political stunt by a South Carolina Democrat highlights the moral bankruptcy of pro-abortion extremists.

State Rep. Mia McLeod wants to “send a message to Republicans in the General Assembly about laws governing the bodies of South Carolinians.” Her legislation would restrict access to medication like Viagra by requiring patients to produce an affidavit from a sexual partner confirming sexual dysfunction in the previous 90 days.

Her bill is meant as a response to abortion curbs, including a ban after 20 weeks of pregnancy that is close to passage. Her approach suggests any effort to protect a viable baby with a beating heart is no more valid than her attempt to embarrass men with problems in sexual performance.

Like many liberals, she can’t grasp that objections to abortion have nothing to do with hating sex, or women &#8212 and everything to do with loving and valuing human life.
