“Bonneville Seattle and the Seattle Seahawks are proud to announce Habitat for Humanity as July’s Charity of the Month.

Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit Christian house organization. Established in 1986, Habitat for Humanity works with God and wide variety of people to provide decent and affordable homes for families in need. Over 150 homes have been built for very low-income families.

As a requirement of the Habitat program, these new homeowners have spent hundreds of hours of personal labor into building their new home. After building is complete, new homeowners pay a no-profit, no-interest mortgage.”
