Photo: Shredded Boeing 737
As the FAA requires the inspection of nearly 200 Boeing 737s, we’re reminded of an incident in 1988. An Aloha Airlines flight attendant was sucked out of the jet and killed, and 61 passengers were injured when a 20-foot section of the plane’s fuselage ripped off at about 24,000 feet in elevation.
