The tourists, visiting from Rhode Island, were walking near the bus tunnel’s entrance when they passed by the group of suspects.
Police say a woman in the group confronted the victims and accused them of bumping her. When the victim apologized, the female suspect burned a 29-year-old man with a lit cigarette.
The group of suspects stole a phone from the victims and then hit another 29-year-old man in the head with a broken bottle, according to police. The suspects also attacked two women, 23 and 24 years old, punching them in the face.
Police arrested a 17-year-old boy who is possibly connected to the incident. But detectives are still seeking help solving the case.
