Russell Wilson: God told me not to have sex with Ciara

Russell Wilson was in Ciara’s dressing room, gazing at the singer as she stood in front of a mirror, when God spoke to him.

“I need you to lead her,” the Seattle Seahawks quarterback told The Rock Church’s Miles McPherson, quoting what God said to him. “I said ‘really, right now?'”

So Wilson asked his girlfriend how she felt about “taking all that extra stuff off the table.”

“We’re talking about sex,” Wilson told McPherson.

The question is: Can Wilson and Ciara love each other without premarital sex? Wilson said he and his girlfriend of about six months will be closer to God with abstinence.

“I need ya’ll to pray for us,” Wilson said. “I know you’ve seen her on the screen.

“If there’s a 10, she’s a 15.”

It’s not a new thing for Wilson to discuss his relationship with God. It’s even come up during interviews regarding his contract negotiations.

Though he doesn’t have an qualms with Wilson talking about his relationship with God and how it relates to his relationship, KIRO Radio’s Ron Upshaw said it’s going to be tough for Ciara.

“I feel bad for Ciara,” Ron said. “The career path she’s on hyper-sexualized her.”

The statement he made during his interview with McPherson created unnecessary pressure for their relationship, KIRO Radio’s Don O’Neill added.

Just sign your contract,” Don pitched in.
