Help the Emergency Feeding Program

Seattle Times columnist Nicole Brodeur joined John to promote the work of the Emergency Feeding Program of Seattle and King County. It turns out, when Nicole wrote about their work in her column, she sparked an unexpected stream of anger from emailers and commenters.

Curley made two promises to Nicole: that he would make a $100 donation to the EFP after the segment, which he did; and that we would post information about helping the EFP on this page.

Visit the Emergency Feeding Program’s website to learn how you can help feed neighbors here in Seattle and King County who are going through tough times. It doesn’t even need to be cash, as they’re accepting lightly used items you might otherwise discard that the EFP will turn into food at a garage sale later this month. Check out the website or call (206) 329-0300 for more information.
