Last summer we attempted to figure out in advance what song would be playing at every bbq, out of every car window and in every dance club by the end of the summer. We chose ‘The Stoop’ by Little Jackie…which didn’t even get released as a summer single.

But we’re determined to try again. You sent us your nominations, and we narrowed it down to the following five.
