Every year we attempt to figure out in advance what song will be playing at every BBQ, out of every car window and in every dance club by the end of the summer. Last year we chose ‘1901’ by Phoenix…which didn’t really hit its stride until late in the year.

But we’re determined to try again. You sent us your nominations, and we narrowed it down to the following five.

Voting is open through July 8th. We’ll announce the TBTL Song of the Summer 2010 on Friday, July 9th.
