These sound categories seem so closely related that I couldn’t see them getting split up. So I went with THE DARK KNIGHT and got one of them right. The other went to SLUMDOG! So there’s one more SLUMDOG award than even I predicted.

And then for FILM EDITING, SLUMDOG took it too (a little more predictable.) I love the editor’s name Chris Dickens, since SLUMDOG is so Dickensian.

Okay, we’re a couple of hours in and it’s beginning to feel more like a typical Oscar show … not that many surprises and not that many highlights. But who’s complaining?
