The biggest name in music in India, A.R. RAHMAN, takes two well-deserved Oscars. What I didn’t realize is he SINGS too. Give that man a third Oscar!

The music was a central part of the appeal of SLUMDOG, so I’m happy for these awards. But poor Peter Gabriel. His song from WALL*E was sandwiched in between two Slumdog songs and couldn’t have felt more out of place. Too funny, trying to blend the three at the end.
