Dozens of kittens stranded after Missouri tornado need a home
It took about a month to get some frisky felines ready for adoption, but now fifty rescue kittens are ready to go to a good home.
The kittens were flown in on a rescue mission after a large tornado ripped through Joplin, Missouri, leaving the kitties homeless.
“We’ll have them Saturday, available all day long for adoption. They’re absolutely adorable,” says Mark Coleman, spokesperson with PAWS.
He says while some of the kittens were sick, all have been treated and are ready to be taken home.
The adoption event is Saturday, July 30 12:30 – 4:00 p.m. at PAWS Cat City in Seattle at 5200 Roosevelt Way N.E.
Coleman predicts most of the kittens will get new names like “Stormy or tornado.”
