Two 6-week-old little clouded leopard cubs born at the Point Defiance Zoo finally have names.

After receiving over 5,000 votes, the zoo decided to name the male Taji (Ta-jee), meaning “little brother” in Burmese, and the female Sumalee (su-ma-LEE), meaning “flower” in Thai.

The zoo says 44 percent of voters preferred “Taji” and 29 percent preferred “Sumalee.”

The cubs, born on June 14, can be seen daily in the cub den of the zoo’s soon-to-be Cats of the Canopy exhibit.
