A Seattle man has turned to facebook to find a kidney donor.

Damon Brown tells KING 5 his kidneys began failing ten months ago.

“I didn’t have any kind of disease or anything like that,” says Brown. “They just failed.”

Brown says that he created a facebook page called ‘Damon Kidney’ to reach out and find a type O or O-negative donor, since it can take years to move up the nationwide transplant list.

Brown currently has over 700 supporters on his facebook page.
