The deadly attacks in Brussels have University of Washington staff trying to account for students, staff and faculty in Belgium.

Information published on the website for the Office of Global Affairs asks students to find and stay in a safe place.

“Notify parents and loved ones of your safety as soon as possible,” the statement says. “Respond to all communications from UW Study Abroad.”

The statement does not say where students are staying in Belgium.
