O’Neil: Chris Christie is to Donald Trump what Flavor Flav is to Public Enemy
The man who once called Donald Trump the Republican running for “entertainer-in-chief” is now somewhat of an entertainer himself. At least, that’s how Danny O’Neil sees it.
Christie took the stage with Trump during Super Tuesday. It was a Super Tuesday that turned out to be less-than-super for opponents of Trump and Hillary Clinton.

KIRO Radio’s Tom Tangney says he was “struck” when he saw Trump on stage with Christie. He called Christie Trump’s “wing man.” O’Neil was quick to correct him.
“No no, his hype man,” O’Neil said.
As O’Neil sees it, Christie is to Trump what Flavor Flav was to Public Enemy. Remember Flavor Flav? He would come out with a giant clock around his neck and hype up the crowd.
“That’s what Chris Christie is now,” O’Neil said. “He’s the hype man. “Y’all ready for Donald? I don’t think you’re ready. You gotta bring it up for the Donald right now, he gonna make America great again!”
