WSDOT looking for your input to fix traffic

The state is working on a long-term plan for public transportation and wants your input.

When you say “transportation” that means buses, vanpools, and paratransit. Pronto, Uber, Lyft and the other transportation apps you may or may not use. Walking and bicycling. Trains. Ferries. (I’m not done.) Planes. Even telecommuting. Wait. Telecommuting? Yup, with the rapid growth of the Puget Sound region, telecommuting is now included in the state’s new transportation survey.

Tell us about what slows you down

We all know the population of the Pacific Northwest is growing, and the State of Washington is researching alternatives to the single-occupant vehicle in hopes of relieving some of our traffic nightmares.

Public comments on the draft plan will be accepted through Jan. 5. You can take a survey at www.surveymonkey.com or call 206-462-6357.

You never know, maybe your idea will solve all of our traffic problems.
