WSCFF Burn Foundation has been named Bonneville Seattle’s Charity of the Month for December, for providing funding for burn research, prevention, education, care and counseling of burn victims and their families.

The WSCFF Burn Foundation was founded in 1987 and is operated solely by Washington professional fire fighters. The Foundation is run by volunteer professional fire fighters who believe in giving back to their communities.

Fire fighters are very aware of the pain and suffering as well as the physical and emotional scarring that accompany burn injuries. The Foundation helps professional fire fighters do everything in their power to help prevent burn injuries before they happen, and lessen the trauma to those who fall victim this this terrible fate.

The primary funding for the Burn Foundation currently is generated from events that are organized by local fire fighters.
