First Place School has been named Bonneville Seattle’s Charity of the Month for December, for for providing hope, home and education for every child, one family at a time.

First Place School is both a social services agency and an elementary school for children and families struggling with the risks and realities of homelessness in the city of Seattle. Their services include a Kindergarten through 6th grade school with therapeutic classrooms for specialized educational needs, plus housing and support services for families.

First Place School educates, nurtures, and advocates for children whose families struggle with the risk or reality of homelessness, empowering families to achieve permanent stability through housing, culturally competent education and support service.
