Did you feel that? Earthquakes register under downtown Seattle
Two earthquakes struck the Puget Sound Thursday, and while relatively small, they were located directly underneath Seattle.
A 2.5 magnitude earthquake registered at 12:11 p.m. The shake occurred underneath the Pike Place Market at a depth of 16 miles.

A second earthquake hit at 1:27 p.m. underneath the Port of Seattle, just south of the ferry dock, at a depth of 15 miles.
